If YSR was alive, they could not have divided Andhra Pradesh. He was such an uniting factor in the Andhra politics. Under his leadership, even the TRS lost its seats in the Telungana region.
Now the question raises? Was YSR killed by some vested interested parties in order to break up Andhra.
Is it also the beginning of balkanization of India?

For Wrong Reasons...
The recent visit of Indian PM to USA got wide popularity for wrong reasons. I live in USA and all I heard about the visit was that one couple was managed to sneak into a party hosted by the US President in honor of the visiting Indian PM.
I didn't hear anything about why the Indian PM visited the US or what agreement they have signed. The newspapers were giving more importance to the party crashing couples.
Usually when a Pakistani President or PM visits the US, they get more publicity in the US media for the right reasons. They will talk about why the Pakistani head of the state is visiting the US and what impact it is going to have in the War on Terror.
The Indian PM didn't get anything like that. All he got was a grant dinner. What have we got as a nation from that. Our PR as a nation is terrible. It should be redone so that people get a very good idea about India as a nation.
For most Americans, India is what they have seen through the movie 'Slumdog Millionaire'. Every American that I meet is talking to me about the largest slum in the world. That is our image. A director was able to do more PR than our PM. Shame on us!

One Jesus and Thousand Denominations
Jesus said, "I am the way, the Truth and the Life". But Jesus never would have thought that humans will create a thousand ways to reach that 'One way' of Jesus.
Each and every denominations and its sub denominations claim that their path is the right path.
Who is right? Which path is right? Anyone's answer would be related to what he believes in. I wonder how many do really believe in Jesus. If they really really really.. I mean REALLY believe in Jesus, then don't they know that Jesus is watching all this!
Whose side Jesus is going to take!
Recently I was searching for Anglican Churches in United States and I saw hundreds of independent Anglican Churches and they all claim that they are the real traditional church. And most of them are functioning in basements, or living room, etc.
Can't they even find a common ground with other like minded churches. Each leader wants to be the highest leader and then they are afraid of other leaders.
In short, they don't realize that Jesus is watching all this.

This is it!
Just came back from watching Michael Jackson's 'This is it' docu-movie. He was a gift from God. A message from God. He has given us very beautiful music to take to our heart. My favorites are 'Earth Song' and 'Billie Jean'.
I wasn't like thrilled after watching the movie. I was mostly sad because of the loss that we had through his death.
Well.. there was an Elvis Presley.. then a Michael Jackson... someone else is out there now.. It will take some time to reveal the new sensation.

By-Elections in Kerala are Over
UDF won all the by-elections. In plain sight it will look as a sweep by the UDF. But if you look carefully into it, then you will see the marketing aspects of it.
I work as a Marketing Analyst for my bread and butter. So this is my analysis as a Marketing Analyst.
UDF was in the opposition when the Lok Sabha election happened in Kerala. LDF was ruling and there definitely was a anti-left wave during that election. But we electorate are stupids and we could forget that very quickly. And the UDF workers are lazy, they could easily become complacent.
So the High Command did a very clever thing. UDF fielded couple current MLA's as candidates of the Lok Sabha. I don't think it was necessary to field them to win the seats. But they fielded them so that their Assembly seats would go vacant and then they could conduct an election between the Panchayat Elections and Lok Sabha election.
3 UDF stronghold assembly seats thus came vacant and in the by-election which happened almost 6 months after the Lok Sabha election, the UDF retained their existing seats.
But the media portrayed it as a huge victory for the UDF and a disaster for the LDF. And their plan is working. The UDF workers are not complacent anymore and they are active.
In six months, the Panchayat elections will be there in Kerala. And UDF workers are already ready for that, the common people thinks that there is a pro UDF wave in the state. And LDF workers with two consecutive defeats are demoralized like never.
The UDF and the media pulled a clever strategy very successfully. And it would be so hard for the mass to understand it and I don't think they will ever understand it.

BJP's defeat in Assembly Elections
BJP lost in Maharashtra, Arunachal and Haryana. BJP's elite Brahmin leaders do not want to share their powers with OBC leaders. That attitude lead to the downfall of BJP. BJP's brahmin baniya leaders think that OBC's and SC/ST followers will always stick with them if they just talk about Hindutva. That is gone.

Are we just sympathizers...
When we hear stories of horror related to other human beings, we just sympathize with them for a moment and then goes back to our daily life. Is it because we think that we cannot bring any change to our world.

Why there is a delay in the Poll Results?
Why the Election Commission of India is delaying the poll results. The assembly elections were only conducted in 3 states. And delaying the poll results does not make any sense.

How dare the Chinese?
How dare the Chinese to object the Indian PM's visit to a state within India. The Chinese are going too far in their arrogance against India.
The Indian government is so soft that even their respond to the current Chinese arrogance is almost muted.
The Indian government should show some guts in dealing with China. If we continuously think that we will lose a war against China, then we will never win over them.
We have to take the Israeli strategy. They are not afraid of their enemies and their huge military. Their existence in the Middle East is only due to their attitude.
We should change our attitude. Otherwise our enemies will grow strong on us. We should tell the Chinese to mind their business and should tell them this is not the 50's. That India is gone. We are an emerging super power and if they don't respect us, then tell them we know how to make them respect us.
But these power and money hungry corrupt and spineless politicians of India will do nothing.

Pakistani Terrorist Attacks
There was a terrorist attack on Pakistani Army HQ in the last couple days. I hope they are learning the lesson now.
They flowed money to Indian militants to attack Indian establishments and now they are feeling the same heat.
What goes around will come around...

The birth of my political aspirations...
I was 8 years old when I started to have an interest in politics. There was a lok sabha (Parliament) election happening on that year. It was the year 1984 and it was the 8th Lok Sabha election.
The candidates from Kottayam parliament constituency were Advocate Suresh Kurup of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) - CPI(M) and Skaria Thomas (I think...) of Kerala Congress.
My school did not have any student politics and because of that we didn't have any student political organizations in the school. But during student strike time, students from the nearby schools used to come to our schools and conducted strikes there.
One particular student organization caught my attention and it was the Students Federation of India (SFI), the students organization of CPI(M). The reason was whenever they come with strike, our principal would shut down the school for that day. On the contrary, Kerala Students Union (KSU), the opponents of SFI, were not that powerful in the eyes of our principal. So he rarely shut down the school when KSU conducts a strike.
This made me think that SFI is a powerful organization (it was.. and still is..) and that made SFI attractive to me.
My interest to SFI made me like Suresh Kurup. And even though my Mom was a center-right person, I became a pro-leftist. My Dad didn't align with any political parties. He has his own politics.
Suresh Kurup and his ideologies became so interesting and I began to consider myself as a socialist from then on...
